Tamala Jones soldiered through one of the most difficult – and dangerous – periods of her career while filming the hit sitcom For Your Love.
The 48-year-old actress revealed on Friday in the episode of Tamron Hall that he put in a full day’s work on the former WB comedy while unknowingly suffering from a brain hemorrhage.
“I was born with it. I didn’t expect that, and no one else was. It was a headache that happened for two weeks straight. I took all this sinus medicine and Tylenol. I probably took an aspirin . It’s ongoing,” he told Hall. “One morning I woke up, I had no balance, I felt like I had to urinate badly, I stumbled to the toilet and nothing came out. My head hurt so much, and then I hit the floor. I got up, the the right side of my body is paralyzed.”
He continued, as he called his boss on the show and told him that he was afraid to enter the film on the last day of production for the fourth season of the show.
Jones says an on-set doctor was provided, but he feels well enough to continue shooting.

He also reiterated to Hall that he filmed a “full day” of the show before going to the hospital. “The doctor was like, I’m surprised you’re alive, especially after working all day,” Jones recalled.
Jones added that he feels fine now, but has learned to listen to his body when it tells him something is wrong.
