The Oakland Athletics, based in Southern Nevada, have signed a binding purchase agreement for land west of the Strip where a Las Vegas Major League ballpark could be built. The deal is for 49 acres of land at Dean Martin Drive and Tropicana Avenue, owned by Red Rock Resorts, parent company of Station Casinos.
