James Corden’s tenure continues The Late Late Show is almost over – and his last guests have been announced.
The British comedian is stepping down from hosting the US chat show later this month, with his final show airing on Thursday 27 April.
On Monday (April 17) night’s show, Corden shared the line-up for his final episode.
Harry Styles, a close friend of Corden, will appear on the show, appearing on The Late Late Show many times over the years.
Styles was rumored to join his former One Direction episode as a send-off for Corden, but the talk show denied it last week.
“No one loves boys more than us… but this story is not true,” the show tweeted.
“What is true is that we have an absolutely brilliant two-hour finale planned to celebrate eight years of the #LateLateShow at 10pm on April 27th.”
The participation of Corden and the singer in the show is Elf star Ferrell, who also has a link to Gavin and Stacey during the co-creator of the chat show, who was a guest on Corden’s first week in March 2015.
Before airing the last episode of the live show, one hour long Carpool Karaoke special will be broadcast.
While the final Carpool Karaoke The guest has yet to be announced, K-pop girl group Blackpink is one of the final three guests.
For the pre-show finale, Tom Cruise will also return for “one last over-the-top sketch” featuring a performance of The Lion King.
Following Corden’s departure from hosting The Late Late Showhe plans to return to London to spend more time with his family.
The Late Late Show With James Corden airs weekly at 12:37am EST on CBS in the US. It aired in the UK the following day at 11.50pm on Sky Comedy.
