CHICAGO (CBS) – A man is recovering after he was stabbed during a robbery in the Loop Thursday morning.
According to police around 5:20 am, the victim, 53, was inside a business when four groups entered a business, in the 400 block of South Clark Street, and demanded money.
One of the suspects took a sharp object and stabbed him several times.
The suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash and merchandise before fleeing on foot in an eastbound direction, according to police.
The victim suffered injuries to the wrist and forehead and was taken to Northwestern Hospital in good condition.
No one else was injured.
No one was caught.
This is the third time in less than a year that the store has been robbed.
