Police are appealing for witnesses following a fail-to-stop collision on the M25 in Enfield which resulted in the deaths of two horses.
Police were called at about 08:50hrs on Saturday, 7 October to between junctions 24 and 25 following reports that a automobile – believed to be a depressing colored VW Touran – had collided with a horse field being towed by a van.
The horse field, which used to be carrying two 5-month-primitive foals, overturned. The motive force of the automobile left the scene.
One of the horses used to be killed in the collision and the assorted had to be do down due to injuries it had sustained.
Officers from the Roads and Transport Policing Repeat are investigating. They would care for to bid with anyone who saw the collision or captured it on sprint cam.
Anyone with information is asked to name police by technique of 101 quoting reference CAD 1969/07Oct.
There were no arrests and enquiries continue.
