A girl is in the hospital after she was hit by a car while riding her bike on Sunday in Coon Rapids.
According to the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office, the girl was hit shortly after noon at the intersection of East River Road Northwest and Foley Boulevard. He was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
After issuing a request for help identifying the woman, the sheriff’s office said the victim’s family has now been notified.
The driver involved in the crash is cooperating with the investigation, the sheriff’s office said.
