A 40-one year-old girl and an eight-one year-old girl hold both been found dead inside a property in Salford.
Elevated Manchester Police (GMP) acknowledged they had been known as to South Radford Road factual after 10.30am following stories of effort for welfare at the property.
“Officers attended, with assistance from North West Ambulance Service and Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service and a 40-year-old woman and an eight-year-old girl were both sadly found dead in the property,” the force acknowledged.
All known subsequent of kinfolk had been told and are being supported by specialist officers.
Detective Superintendent Simon Moyles of GMP’s Salford district acknowledged: “A woman and young girl were both tragically found dead and we are working hard as a team to establish what happened here this morning.
“Even as we’re no longer actively buying for anybody else when it comes to this investigation, I understand the files of their deaths and the immense police and emergency products and services presence at the handle will presumably trigger some effort to residents and these extra afield in Elevated Manchester.
“I want to reassure them that we believe this to be an isolated incident with no wider threat in the community.”
A Salford City Council spokesperson furthermore acknowledged: “We are aware of the terribly sad news this morning and our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of those who have tragically lost their lives.
“We’re working closely with GMP and helping them with their ongoing investigation and our groups could be supporting both native residents and council workers who make no longer hold any doubt been tremendously struggling from the events this day.”
