A rapid response by police to a spree of mobile phone thefts ended with two arrests and a machete taken off the streets.

They thoroughly searched the dwelling and two kids, used 14 and 15, had been arrested on suspicion of theft and possession of an offensive weapon. Victims reported the pair snatched phones from their fingers while on e-bikes.
Seven mobile phones and one machete had been recovered.
Three of the phones had been returned to their rightful house owners and work is ongoing to hint the house owners of the remaining phones.
