Extra than a quarter of oldsters having a watch to purchase homes are having a watch at destinations outside their latest metropolis, according to three months of data from Redfin.com analyzed by CNBC. Or no longer it is the easiest percentage (26%) since Redfin started tracking the data in 2017.
Where are folks having a watch to pass? The No. 1 aspirational destination was Las Vegas, followed by several cities in Florida.
The data is based on 100 metro areas and their “obtain inflow,” a quantity tallied by having a watch at how many folks are searching to leave a metropolis vs. how many are having a watch to pass in.

According to property searches on Redfin’s web page, the top five cities with the easiest “obtain inflow” have been:
- Las Vegas: 5,700
- Phoenix: 5,300
- Tampa, Florida: 5,000
- Orlando, Florida: 4,900
- Sacramento, California: 4,800
As for the place folks are leaving, San Francisco and Novel York Metropolis led the listing of the largest “obtain outflow” searches, which is no longer any shock based on data from the last few years. But some smaller locations such as Hartford and Denver also made the top 10.
