Breaking news
It wasn’t that long ago that we acquired our first look at Marvel’s Thunderbolts movie, and right here we are with another! This one comes courtesy of D23 Brazil, and capabilities as a gleaming showcase for our cast of MCU antiheroes…and also some man.
Directed by Jake Schreier, the movie sees Yelena Belova tranquil working as a authorities assassin while struggling with civilian lifestyles after the occasions of Hawkeye. Her next assignment places her in the surprising path of some familiar faces: Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen) from Ant-Man & the Wasp, Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko), ex-Captain America John Walker (Wyatt Russell), and the tranquil mysterious Bob (Lewis Pullman). All of sudden, things get peculiar, and the group finds themselves forced to work collectively as anyone tries to wipe them out. This eventually pulls Bucky (Sebastian Stan) and Yelena’s adoptive dad Red Guardian (David Harbour) into the fray, and extra chaos will certainly unfold.
Not just like the first trailer, this one highlights the four assassins and reveals what makes them such efficient killers. It also ends up answering two vast questions: why are they called the Thunderbolts, and who the hell bought Avengers Tower? The primary is admittedly laughable; Guardian declares them that because he thinks it’s a cool name (and it is), which the others aren’t having. As for the 2nd, it’s none various than Yelena’s boss Valentina (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), and she’s extra than happy in her new digs. Determined may well be a shame if it acquired all shot up at some point.
Marvel’s Thunderbolts hits theaters on May 2, 2025.
