Detectives investigating the murder of a man in Enfield maintain made a second arrest.
A 42-year-aged man used to be arrested in the early hours of Monday, 4 March on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.
A 30-year-aged lady who used to be arrested on suspicion of murder on Sunday, 3 March also remains in custody.
An investigation used to be launched after police were called at 19:21hrs on Friday, 1 March to experiences of a man learned injured in the communal dwelling of apartments in Lockhart End, Enfield.
Officers replied and learned a 66-year-aged man with stab injuries. Despite the efforts of the emergency services and products, he died at the scene.
His subsequent of kin has been informed and whereas formal identification awaits, we can verify the deceased is George Eric Rogers from Enfield.
A put up-mortem examination is scheduled to happen at Haringey Mortuary on Monday, 4 March.
Detectives imagine they know the identity of the man and maintain informed his subsequent of kin. Formal identification has not but taken station.
A valuable assortment of enquiries were performed over the weekend, including dwelling-to-dwelling assessments and a forensic examination of the scene. This work continues.
