The fireplace provider and participants of the overall public rushed to rescue a Shetland pony that had fallen into a cattle grid in Powys after a walker had reportedly left a gate open. The incident came about in Llangatwg, Powys.
Teifi, a 21-year-feeble Shetland pony living on land owned by Katy Stepto, became once in a online page to reach the cattle grid at 7.32am on Tuesday. Teifi’s owner Beth Watkins called on walkers to comprehend responsibility and perform certain gates are closed securely behind them when walking by fields.
Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Carrier acknowledged crews from Crickhowell, Talgarth, and Pontardawe had been called to the incident. The pony became once freed after a four-hour fight which involved breaking the grid.

Ms Watkins acknowledged: “I purchased a call from my buddy to expose me Teifi had purchased himself stuck in the cattle grid on Katy’s farm. That is thanks to a walker who has the sincere to dawdle at some stage in personal property but who made up our minds to toddle away the farm gate open.
