Mama June has won beefy custody of her 12-year-gentle granddaughter, Kaitlyn.
Kaitlyn is the daughter of Mama June’s leisurely daughter Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell, who died in December 2023 from stage four adrenal carcinoma, archaic 29.
The tip consequence follows a custody fight with Kaitlyn’s stepfather Michael Cardwell. He was Anna’s ex-husband and the daddy of her 2nd daughter, Kylee, eight.
Michael and Anna started seeing each and each other when Kaitlyn was eight months gentle, and they divorced in 2017. A deem ruled that Michael hadn’t given “any significant financial support” to Kaitlyn within the past year, which ended in the resolution to grant custody to Mama June.
A therapist also gave proof to insist Kaitlyn wished to dwell along with her grandmother, pronouncing the 12-year-gentle “fears being taken away” from Mama June and “expressed a desire to stay” along with her.
Mama June had beforehand accused Michael of “being abusive” against her daughter. His lawyer answered with an announcement, pronouncing, “Michael denies these allegations. This is the first time that any of these allegations have been made against him. He and Anna had a great relationship when they were married and simply separated due to differences in opinions and personalities.”
Now the custody ruling has been delivered, Michael will want permission from Mama June to examine Kaitlyn.
