Neil Warnock says he grew to transform down jobs with three instances the salary in sigh to take over at Aberdeen – and has location his sights on winning the Scottish Cup.
The 75-year-dilapidated succeeds Barry Robson, who was sacked last week, and will be in charge on Tuesday at Rangers.

“I want to pit my wits against the teams we approach up against – and I want to accept a cup. I’ve never won a cup,” added Warnock, whose facet will face Bonnyrigg Rose in the Scottish Cup last 16 on Saturday.
“I would want to have a jog on this league. And with a club fancy this. I want the pleasure back. Aberdeen is one of these clubs you kiss the badge and you mean it.
“It is a tall club and I relate to the variety of fans the club have, as I did at QPR and Crystal Palace. When I say they are adverse, I attach now not mean that in a nasty way – or now not it is beautiful to have fans really at the back of the team. A one-club metropolis.”

His assistant Ronnie Jepson has also joined Aberdeen, while Peter Leven, who took charge against Celtic last weekend, will continue as first-team coach.
Warnock has one session with the players on Monday before the game at Ibrox and joked that “if we glean battered on Tuesday it is Peter’s fault, and if we enact effectively I’ve been influential”.
