Vogue icon Iris Apfel has died, aged 102.
The details was launched on her Instagram web page, with a photograph of Iris, and a caption that read, “Iris Barrel Apfel August 29, 1921 – March 1, 2024.”
Spokesman for her property, Stu Loeser, confirmed she died at her home in Palm Shoreline, Florida.
Iris, who described herself as a “geriatric starlet” was known for her profession in textiles and keep.
She ran a business alongside with her husband, Carl Apfel, where they made dresses for movie stars and first girls folk, with their contract with the White Residence spanning 9 presidencies.
