International insurance broker Howden has acquired Germany’s Franz Gossler Insurance Group to strengthen its position as a leading sports, film and entertainment broker in Europe.
Franz Gossler Insurance Group was founded in 1970 and is an owner-managed company specializing in the fields of entertainment, film, event and advertising insurance.
The transaction was executed by Howden Germany’s specialty broker, Howden Caninenberg.
The company stated that the acquisition is part of its strategic objective to invest in local specialist skills and position itself as the best choice for national and international clients in the entertainment industry.
