Aldi is jam-packed with bargains and reduced prices, making it many people’s favourite place to shop for groceries and household goods.
The retailer is known for being budget-friendly and for its incredible Specialbuy products, which range from furniture to cooking essentials.
However, new ways of shopping at Aldi that ensure you save even more money have been revealed.
From ditching big brands and claiming any freebies to keeping an eye out for red sale labels and monitoring what’s in this week’s Specialbuys, there’s four things you can do to help slash your supermarket spends even further. Let’s take a look…
Big brands
Another thing Aldi is known for is its dupes of big brands, and recently the retailer even released a range of products inspired by McDonald’s favourites.
The supermarket is filled with look-alike products and the dupes are almost always cheaper than the big brand alternatives.
By swapping big brands for dupes, you could save a lot of money on your food shopping bill.
Red labels
Many supermarkets mark products with yellow stickers when reducing them, and this usually happens at the end of the day or first thing in the morning.
However, Aldi’s sale labels are actually red, meaning shoppers may not be looking out for them as they’re usually searching for yellow stickers.
You cans save up to 75% off products marked down in the sale, and Aldi also discounts any goods by 30% if the packaging is not up to standard.

Freebies
It’s not just red stickers you should be keeping an eye out for, as Aldi does have the occasional freebie on offer in store.
For example, the retailer’s partnership with Netmums has allowed many shoppers to claim a pack of free nappies when shopping in-store.
Customers can claim a full-sized pack of nappies for free once they’ve signed up to the site and been mailed their free voucher to take to the store.
This offer was spotted by customers on Latest Deals, but other deals can be found on sites such as Hotukdeals and in bargain-focused Facebook groups.
Specialbuys
Every Thursday and Sunday, Aldi shoppers rush to the online store to check out what Specialbuys have been released that week.
The Specialbuys include everything and anything, from garden furniture and hot tubs to homeware and furniture.
However, many of the products are so popular that they sell out in minutes, meaning shoppers need to be well prepared if they wish to secure a bargain.
For example, Aldi’s garden egg chair continues to sell out in record time every time it is released on the site, with shoppers continuing to attempt to get their hands on one during the warmer months.
