Gary Goldsmith’s former mother-in-law has slammed ITV for allowing him on Gargantuan Brother after he was convicted of assaulting her daughter.
Maureen Brown, mother of Julie-Ann, said she is terrified Goldsmith was signed by ITV for the series.
Goldsmith – who’s Kate Middleton’s uncle – pleaded guilty to assaulting Julie-Ann, his fourth partner, after a drunken row in 2017. He was fined £5,000.

Maureen, 84, informed the Judge: ‘He’s now no longer a nice character. What sort of man hits a lady? He mustn’t be benefiting after what he did.
‘He was lawful there to bound the pot. He’s an unsavoury character. All they care about is the ratings.’
It comes after Goldsmith, 58, became the first person to be kicked out of the Gargantuan Brother condo after boos were heard from the crowd on Friday.
