A food safety expert has warned of us to avoid ordering fish at restaurants on a Monday, or threat getting ill. Dr Darin Detwiler a passe FDA and USDA food safety advisor says ordering fish at the start of the week may well increase your threat of food poisoning.
He said that typically, fish markets are no longer launch on the weekends which means there is a high chance your dinner may well have been sitting in a fridge for two to three days sooner than it reaches your table. Dr Detwiler said: “Fish that is rarely any longer contemporary may undergo chemical changes, leading to spoilage that affects its taste, scent, and safety.”
Speaking to the Daily Mail, he said ghastly fish may also contain high ranges of histamine, a chemical released by the immune machine. This can lead to food-borne illness scombroid poisoning, which causes outcomes of allergy-admire reactions including a rash, sweating, diarrhoea, headaches and vomiting.
