After a few days of isolated to scattered strong storms, today should bring more rain and storms, especially this afternoon. Heavy rains may result in flooding in some areas. Tomorrow, we’re looking at a chance of just one more isolated shower or thunderstorm, with dry weather expected on Tuesday and Wednesday as another heat wave approaches.
Today (Sunday): Another warm and humid start to the 70s. Temperatures should climb into the mid-80s by early afternoon under mostly cloudy skies. An isolated shower in the morning is possible. But around noon to 6 pm is when more showers and thunderstorms should move west to east across the area, dropping temperatures back into the 70s. The downpour may last an hour or two in either area, with flooding possible. Some areas will see 1 to 3 inches of rain, while others will see less. Some storms can also produce damaging winds. Confidence: Medium-High
Tonight: Once we get past 6pm, isolated to scattered showers and storms will remain possible during the evening and overnight. Lows remain in the upper 60s to near 70. Confidence: Medium

Tomorrow (Monday): Part of the day as calmer weather returns. Temperatures aren’t bad in July, with highs in the mid-80s, and we’re not too humid (dew points in the mid-60s) thanks to light winds from the northwest. The chance of rain will be lower compared to Sunday, but an isolated shower or thunderstorm is still possible. Confidence: Medium-High
Tomorrow night: A relatively quiet night, with temperatures in the upper 60s to near 70 and partly cloudy skies. Confidence: Medium
tuEsday looking dry with plenty of sun and temperatures returning to near-average levels in the upper 80s to near 90. Skies should remain mostly sunny Wednesday as the heat starts to crank up again with highs in the low to mid 90s. Humidity should remain moderate (low 60s) for both days.
