Today (Monday): We will have plenty of sun, although expect some clouds to pop up at times, and not out of the question a brief shower or thunderstorm, mostly in northeast Washington. Most of us stayed dry, with highs in the mid-80s. There is some lingering fatigue, but the humidity should ease as the day wears on. The wind is from the northwest at a speed of 10 mph. Confidence: Medium-High
Tonight: The sky was mostly clear and it was a pleasant summer night. Lows will be in the 60s in the region (warmest downtown and coldest north and west of the Beltway). Confidence: High

Tomorrow (Tuesday): With abundant sunshine, we can run into 90, but humidity levels are lower than ever (dew points in the low 60s), so it’s not ideal. We will also have light cooling winds from the northwest at 5 to 10 mph. Confidence: High
Tomorrow night: Much like Monday but maybe a couple of degrees warmer. Under clear skies, lows will range from the low to mid 60s in our cooler areas to near 70 downtown. Confidence: High
Humidity was monitored for another day (dew points in the low to mid 60s) at Wednesday, but plenty toasty as the sunshine pushes the highs into the low 90s. Partly cloudy in the evening, with lows ranging from 65 to 70 in our cooler areas to 75 downtown. Confidence: Medium-High
Time goes on autopilot Thursday through the weekend like winds from the south pumping hot and humid air. Daily highs will be near 90, but will feel hotter as the humidity increases (lows near 70). Showers and storms are possible each afternoon into the early evening, although it is possible that drier air will try to move in on Sunday, when the chance of rain may diminish. We’ll have heavy nights across this stretch, with lows in the upper 60s to mid 70s. Confidence: Medium
