The Broomfield Chamber of Commerce held its second annual Women in Business event Thursday.
The event, hosted by the Lionsgate Event Center in Lafayette, aims to celebrate women and their businesses in Broomfield. Approximately 150 people attended the event.
Presenters Dale Wilsher and Hayden Kristal spoke at the event. Wilsher is a professional development expert and author. He has given keynote speeches at events since 2007 on the topics of thinking, purpose and personality.
Kristal is a comedian, known for his activist work and stand-up comedy. They give talks on the topics of diversity and intersectionality, along with their own Deaf, Jewish and queer experiences.
The Broomfield Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1960 by businesses, educators and other professionals who came together to promote the economic well-being of Broomfield.
