John Routh, who spent years as the mascot of the University of Miami, first as the Miami Maniac and then as Sebastian the Ibis, is now the executive director of the Tom Kearns Sports Hall of Fame. Covering all sports, the hall of fame has many artifacts dating back to the university’s founding. “We enshrine the best of the best wearing the orange, green, and white,” Routh said.
