Tár and The Banshees of Inisherin obtained immense at the London Critics’ Circle Film Awards on Sunday.
Todd Discipline’s psychological drama, starring Cate Blanchett because the fictional composer/conductor Lydia Tár, used to be topped Film of the Year for the length of a ceremony staged within the British capital.
Blanchett used to be also named Actress of the Year and Discipline obtained Director of the Year.
Meanwhile, Martin McDonagh’s darkish comedy The Banshees of Inisherin used to be honoured with 5 prizes, including The Attenborough Award for British/Irish Film of the Year, Screenwriter of the Year, Actor of the Year for Colin Farrell, Most productive Supporting Actor for Barry Keoghan, and Most productive Supporting Actress for Kerry Condon.
Frankie Corio used to be named Young British/Irish Performer for Aftersun, while The Dilys Powell Award for Excellence in Film used to be offered to Michelle Yeoh.
