A man has been rescued from the bottom of a ravine alongside the River Roch in Heywood tonight (April 22).
Emergency companies and products had been called to the gap upright off Summit Avenue at spherical 8pm. Police, fire service, and ambulance personnel had been all pictured on the scene aiding with the rescue.
A rope and a stretcher had to be ancient to rescue the person, in accordance to the fire service, who dwell in attendance. After being rescued the person became positioned into the care of the ambulance service who took them to hospital.

The extent of any injuries are unknown.
A spokesperson for Increased Manchester Fire and Rescue Provider (GMFRS) stated: “At spherical 8pm on Saturday 22 April, fire crews had been called by Increased Manchester Police to support with the rescue of a man from the bottom of a ravine alongside the River Roch in Heywood.
“Three fire engines from Rochdale, Heywood and Bury stations, to boot to the water incident unit from Heywood and the technical response unit from Ashton, mercurial attended the scene.
“Firefighters ancient lighting fixtures, a rope machine and stretcher to rescue the person, who became transferred to the care of North West Ambulance Provider and introduced to hospital. GMFRS crews dwell in attendance.”
