U.S. companies are assist on top of the Fortune Global 500 list, overtaking Chinese language companies after two years of boring development in China and relative outperformance by U.S. companies.
The U.S. had led the list for a protracted time, with its titans of commerce, tech and healthcare. However Chinese language companies overtook U.S. companies in 2000, when China pulled forward by three companies. By 2022, China’s lead had grown at an extremely fleet tempo — with 136 companies on the list to 124 for the U.S.
