A 32-twelve months-veteran man has been charged with terrorism offences following an investigation by the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command.
Shafi Saleem (03.03.1989) of east London became charged on Wednesday, 15 February with the following offences:
dissemination of terrorist newsletter, opposite to piece 2 of the Terrorism Act 2006
breach of a component 4 notification requirement below the Counter Terrorism Act 2008
an offence below piece 4A of the Public Issue Act 1986
Saleem became arrested on Tuesday 14 February at Heathrow airport after arriving into the UK on a flight from Pakistan. He became taken to a south London police build, where he became therefore charged with the offences above.
He has been remanded in custody to procure a examine Westminster Magistrates’ Courtroom on Thursday, 16 February.
