On 12 January it was announced that Lisa Marie Presley had tragically passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest, with her mother Priscilla breaking the upsetting news.
Mum-of-four Lisa, who was just 54 years old at the time of her passing, was the only daughter of late music icon Elvis Presley and wife Priscilla, 77.
Announcing the news of Lisa Marie’s untimely passing, Priscilla said in a statement: “It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us.
“She was the most passionate strong and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss. Thank you for the love and prayers.”
Lisa, also a singer like her famous father, died at her home in Calabasas, California, where she had lived since 2016 after moving back to the US following a six-year stint in the UK.
In 2010, she relocated to East Sussex, where she lived on a 50-acre farm just outside of the quiet village of Rotherfield.
Lisa swapped her mansion in Los Angeles for a 15th-century manor house, which was heavily guarded, in the English countryside after deciding she wanted to “embrace village life”.
At the time, she was married to ex-husband, guitarist and producer Michael Lockwood, 61, who she shares twin daughters Harper and Finley, 14, with.

Speaking about her quiet life in the UK at the time, Lisa told the Daily Mail: “I love what is simple. People know right from wrong, they know good from bad.
“All my life I was surrounded. I had assistants for this and that. An entourage. And entourages are the worst. So I got rid of everybody, literally, and started from ground zero.”
The mum-of-four also admitted she needed “simplicity and loyalty” and branded the village “protective and sweet”.
In 2016, she headed back to the US and Lisa filed for divorce from Michael, who she wed in 2006. The couple’s divorce was eventually finalised in 2021.
Lisa Marie is survived by her three daughters Riley Keough, and twins Finley Aaron and Harper Vivienne Ann.
As well as welcoming Riley with first husband Danny Keough, Lisa was mother to son Benjamin who sadly died in 2020.
